Guided meditation – Heal your inner child

​This guided meditation will reconnect you with your authentic Self. Listen to it as often as you need. It is important to heal you inner child. It's been neglected for too long.

Healing your inner child will increase your feelings of worth, self-love and happiness and reduce the internal pressure that causes anxiety.

I know some people avoid meditations as they cannot make their mind become quiet (because I am one of them).

During a guided meditation, your mind is constantly engaged through directed visualisation which makes it easier to remain focussed.

This is the first meditation I recorded. I would appreciate any feedback on how to improve. Thank you! x

    I love this guided meditation. I like the music that plays in the background. It’s very pleasant and doesn’t take away from what you are speaking. I was able to stay focused most of the time, but my mind was distracted at times because I have restless leg syndrome so I didn’t fully concentrate on the meditation the whole time. But my legs aren’t always restless, so I’ll keep listening to the meditation.
    I like the fact that the meditation was a good length of time. Just long enough for my mind to get settled, and not get bored.

      Thanks so much for the feedback, Nick! I am glad that the visualisation was helpful. Keep repeating it. In most of us the inner child needs lots of healing and TLC. Especially if we have been used to beating ourselves up for years or when we experienced a lot of trauma, neglect or abuse in our lives.

    Berni, I had a really strong emotional reaction when I followed the guided meditation. As for Nick, it was powerful in a good way (once I had wiped away the tears). I tried the visualisation from your written instructions originally, and I just couldn’t get into it but the guided meditation was very different. So you must be doing something right!
